This CD-ROM contains the full-text papers that were received from authors for publication in the Proceedings of the Mini-Conference on Human Factors in Complex Sociotechnical Systems. All authors have given the HFES South Jersey Chapter the right to distribute this CD-ROM but retain all other copyrights, if any.

Using Adobe Reader

All papers on this CD-ROM are viewable using Adobe® Reader® 6.0 or later. Click on the HELP button and select "How To..." for a few tips on navigating in Reader. For more detailed information on Reader, select "Adobe Reader Help" from the HELP menu.

How to Search This CD-ROM

To conduct a full-text search of the papers and poster documents:

1. Open Adobe Reader as a standalone application.  That is, opening it embedded from within your web browser will not work.

2. In Adobe Reader, select Edit > Search.

3. Enter the search terms in the "What word or phrase would you like to search for?" field located in the upper right of the Reader window.

4. Select the "All PDF Documents in" radio button.

5. Use the list box to browse to your CD-ROM drive.

6. Click Search.
